Floating Market & Kanchanaburi #BKK-405
Day tour to the provinces of Ratchaburi and Kanchanaburi, located west of the Bangkok. Experience the most famous floating market, which is Damnoen Saduak. Observe the busy trading of fruits and vegetables in the canals. Later in Kanchanaburi visit some historical sights, such as the famous River Kwai Bridge and enjoy a scenic ride with the so-called Death Railway.
Available as a private tour, minimum 2 persons, daily from/to Bangkok
Early morning at time 07.00 you will be picked up from the hotel in Bangkok by our tour guide and driver. Drive first in southern direction to the big salt farms near the sea in Samut Songkram. Another brief stop will be at a palm sugar factory.
Later arrive at the Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak. Here board a small boat and you will be rowed through the market canal and the smaller side canals to observe the trading of fruits, vegetables etc.
Continue on the road to Kanchanaburi. Visit the famous Bridge over the River Kwai and JEATH Museum from the 2nd world war.
Then it is time for your lunch break at a local restaurant. In the afternoon enjoy a train ride on the so called Death Railway, passing also the well known wooden viaducts along the river.
Afterwards it is already time again for your transfer back to the hotel in Bangkok and arrive there by early evening.
