Kayaking on the Ping River #CNX-916

A kayak tour (absolutely suitable also for beginners) on the northern part of the Ping River, located approx. 70 km from downtown Chiang Mai. Paddle through the wilderness along a rather lush vegetation with lots of bamboo trees, while enjoying nature and silence.

Available by joining the small group, daily from/to Chiang Mai

In the morning at time 08.30-08.45 our local tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel in Chiang Mai and drive for approx. one hour to the north until you reach Chiang Dao area.

First get basic instructions and then board the light and easy handling kayak. Start navigate through the lush and overgrown waterways of the northern Ping River along some bamboo jungle.

Bird life crossings, fish jumping and mysterious sounds from the forest will accompany you on your journey. Lunch break on route at a local riverside restaurant. Total paddle time is 4-5 hours.

In the late afternoon transfer back to the hotel in Chiang Mai.
