A guided full day tour in the capital of Thailand with major sights and attractions. Lots of fascinating experiences in Bangkok await to be explored. Experience ornate shrines and vibrant street life, the boat-filled Chao Phraya River, Rattanakosin royal district, home to opulent Grand Palace with its sacred Wat Phra Kaew Temple and much more.
Available as a private tour, minimum 2 persons, daily from/to Bangkok
Pick up from the hotel in Bangkok by our local tour guide and driver will be at time 08.30. First drive to Chinatown and stop at Wat Trimitr (temple of Golden Buddha).
Continue to the Grand Palace. Even the royal family does not reside in that palace anymore, this compound is still the landmark of the country. Here visit the most important buildings, like the Coronation Hall, Audience Hall etc.
Wat Phra Keo next to it is famous for it's Jade Buddha inside the Bot, but also for the colorful chedis, salas etc.
Afterwards go on to see Wat Pho, the temple with the large reclining Buddha (46 meters long). Your lunch break will be at a local restaurant on route.
Later enjoy an approx. one hour trip by long tail boat along the canals of Thonburi, which does end at the picturesque Wat Arun (the temple of dawn). Then it is time for your return to the hotel and you will be back by late afternoon.
