Chiang Mai Cookery School #CNX-905
You are not a chef after just one day, but you learn a lot about local spices and preparation of well-known Thai dishes at the cookery school in the old part of the city. Before that, you take a tour over the local fresh market to get spices and fresh vegetables.
Available by joining the small group, daily from/to Chiang Mai
At time 08.30-08.45 you are picked up from the hotel in Chiang Mai by our local tour guide, followed by short transfer to the cookery school.
First tour the local market, where you learn more about Thai vegetables, herbs and spices.
At the cookery school start to prepare and cook your lunch. It includes some of the most popular Thai dishes. The challenge is how to obtain the necessary ingredients to cook a real Thai dish. In the afternoon prepare some of the popular Thai desserts and sweets.
Transfer back to the hotel will be between time 15.00-16.00.
REMARKS/FLEXIBILITY:
- You can choose between a cookery school in downtown Chiang Mai or at the farm in the outskirts.
There are also half day cookery courses available from time 09.00-13.00, as well as 17.00-21.00
