A bit later you will reach Kanchanaburi. Of course, you will stop at the legendary bridge over the River Kwai. Next, visit the magnificent Prasat Muang Singh Temple (the westernmost temple complex of the former Khmer Empire). Afterwards you will take an impressive train ride with the so-called "Death Railway". The 30-minute ride from Takilen to Wang Po and Tham Krasae Cave leads along the Kwai River over the famous wooden viaducts. In the late afternoon you finally reach Saiyoke. There is still some time to relax. Overnight at the resort on the river.bank.

Via Thong Phapum go on to the Three Pagoda Pass, also a border crossing between Thailand and Myanmar. Take a stroll over the market, where many merchants from Myanmar offer their goods. The last section takes you to Sanklaburi, a small and also strongly Burmese-influenced town at Khao Laem National Park & Reservoir, where you will spend the night.
DAY 3 SANKLABURI B/L
Right after breakfast you will first visit the Mon temple Wat Wang Wiwek Karam and then the old wooden bridge, which leads from Sanklaburi to a traditional village of the Mon (the Mon are an ethnic minority from neighboring Myanmar). This is followed by a boat trip on the reservoir to the temple complex Wat Taibaddhan. which was completely under water some time ago during the flooding of the reservoir, but today thanks to the sinking water level is dry again. The lunch break follows at a local restaurant. In the afternoon we drive to the Pom Pi View Point and then visit the Ka Teng Cheng waterfall. Enjoy the beautiful nature and idyllic landscapes. Then transfer back to Sanklaburi, where you will spend another night.
DAY 4 SANKLABURI - SAIYOKE B/D
In the morning you will first drive back towards Saiyoke. Along the way, take a detour to Hindat's impressive hot water springs. In two landscaped pools with about 40 degrees hot water you can enjoy a bath. Right next door runs a small forest river with cool and clear water that leads to the picturesque waterfall Pha Tad. Then continue and you reach your accommodation in the wilderness of Saiyoke. You have time to relax by the pool or for a walk in the surrounding area. Overnight in an unique tented bungalow resort.
DAY 5 SAIYOKE - KANCHANABURI B/L
Today first visit beautiful Huay Mae Khamin waterfall, which we reach after another hour's drive. The idyllic road there is very narrow and hardly used. Now we take a nice little hike that leads to the seven different stages of the waterfall. Enjoy the magical play of colors of water, sun and the limestone sinter of waterfall. Today's last stage takes you to the city of Kanchanaburi. Here we visit the two neighboring temples Wat Tham Sua, and the Chinese Wat Tham Khao Noi, located about 10 km south of the city. Both facilities are picturesquely located on a hill, separated only by a barbed wire fence. Since both temples compete for donations from the locals, this fence was erected. From the high tower of Wat Tham Khao Noi, which can be reached via a spiral staircase, you have a fantastic view over the surroundings. Overnight in Kanchanaburi.
DAY 6 KANCHANABURI - BANGKOK B/L
After breakfast we drive to Elephants World, about 20 km away, where older elephants have found a home. After getting to know each other, you will have the opportunity to watch the pachyderms bathing. After that, the food is prepared for the older animals: help wash and cut the vegetables and cook the rice for subsequent feeding. After feeding the elephants with sticky rice balls it is time for your lunch break. Enjoy a traditional meal while watching the elephants. Freshly strengthened, you now help to plant sugar cane, banana grass and banana trees, the food plants for the elephants. Now, together with the mahouts, you lead the gentle giants to the river for bathing. Help scrub the elephants and watch the elephants bask in the water and enjoy this refreshment. In the late afternoon leave the camp and return to Bangkok with many beautiful impressions of an unforgettable day at Elephants World.
